LIN LOX LAR

LIN LOX LAR Storage Tanks

Cryogenic temperatures range from –150°C to absolute zero (–273°C). Furthermore, they play a crucial role in the liquefaction of gases including oxygen, hydrogen, helium, argon, and nitrogen. As Harsan Tanker, we design and manufacture cryogenic tanks to transport and store Liquid Nitrogen (LIN), Liquid Argon (LAR), and Liquid Oxygen (LOX) efficiently and safely.

Double-Wall Technology and Material Quality

We manufacture our tanks with a double-wall structure to maintain the phase of stored liquefied gas. Furthermore, this structure consists of an inner tank and an outer body, delivering superior thermal insulation.

Inner Tank

We manufacture the inner tank from high-quality 304L stainless steel. Furthermore, this material withstands extreme cryogenic temperatures down to –196°C. Consequently, we guarantee long-term structural integrity throughout the service life.

Outer Tank

We manufacture the outer tank body from high-strength carbon steel. Moreover, this material delivers maximum resistance against external conditions and pressure. Therefore, the tank structure offers full protection under the most demanding operating conditions.

Insulation and Absolute Vacuum System

After positioning the inner tank inside the outer tank, we fill the space between the two layers with cryogenic perlite aggregate. Furthermore, we then apply a vacuum to the theoretical absolute vacuum value. Consequently, we minimise heat transfer completely.

  • Furthermore, this superior Perlite + Vacuum insulation technology guarantees the liquid maintains its phase over extended periods.
  • Moreover, a low boil-off rate delivers both prolonged performance and low maintenance costs.
  • Additionally, depending on project requirements, we also offer a super thermal insulation application.

International Manufacturing Standards

The Harsan cryogenic production line fully complies with the most demanding global standards. Furthermore, we manufacture our designs according to the following international standards:

  • Furthermore, we fully apply AD MERKBLATT CODE 2000 pressure vessel standards.
  • Moreover, we ensure full compliance with EN 13458 and EN 13530 norms.
  • In addition, we meet the ADR 2013 hazardous goods transport directive.
  • Additionally, we fulfil all ASME Sec VIII Div 1 requirements.
  • Consequently, we also fully apply PED, TPED, and CE directives.

Moreover, we offer design and manufacturing services conforming to various local standards based on customer requests.

Application Areas

Our LIN LOX LAR storage tanks serve all critical industries requiring the secure storage of liquefied industrial gases. Furthermore, these tanks play a vital role in the following sectors:

  • Furthermore, we provide reliable gas storage solutions for metalworking and heavy industrial facilities.
  • Moreover, we support healthcare services and medical gas infrastructure with critical LOX storage.
  • Consequently, we also deliver solutions for advanced manufacturing processes requiring uninterrupted liquid nitrogen, oxygen, and argon supply.

LIN LOX LAR Storage Tanks — Frequently Asked Questions

How does Harsan prevent liquid loss (boil-off) in cryogenic LIN, LOX, and LAR storage tanks?

We use double-wall technology to cut heat transfer completely. Furthermore, we fill the space between the inner and outer tank with cryogenic perlite aggregate. Afterward, we apply a vacuum to the theoretical absolute vacuum value. Consequently, this superior Perlite + Vacuum insulation delivers a low boil-off rate. Therefore, your liquid nitrogen, oxygen, or argon remains in liquid phase for extended periods, reducing operating costs.

We manufacture inner tanks from high-quality 304L stainless steel to withstand extreme cryogenic temperatures down to –196°C. Furthermore, we manufacture the outer tank body from high-strength carbon steel for maximum resistance against external conditions and pressure. Consequently, both materials guarantee long-term structural safety throughout the service life.

We manufacture storage tanks at design pressures between 5 Bar and 36 Bar according to your facility requirements. Furthermore, our production processes fully comply with internationally recognised standards:

  • Furthermore, we fully apply ASME Sec VIII Div 1 requirements.
  • Moreover, we ensure full compliance with EN 13458 and EN 13530.
  • Additionally, we apply ADR 2013AD MERKBLATT CODE 2000PEDTPED, and CE directives.

Our high-technology storage tanks serve a wide range of industries. Furthermore, they fulfil a critical role in the following sectors:

  • Furthermore, we provide liquid oxygen (LOX) storage solutions for hospitals and medical gas infrastructure.
  • Moreover, we deliver argon and nitrogen storage for metalworking and heavy industrial facilities.
  • In addition, we supply reliable liquid nitrogen (LIN) storage for food freezing processes.
  • Consequently, we serve all advanced manufacturing lines requiring uninterrupted, pure industrial gas supply.
